Printout is Not Sharp 

Adjust the Print Quality setting 

On the Main panel, select High for the Print Quality option to make printed text sharper, 

or to improve the clarity of printed graphics or photographs. 

 

Selecting Print Quality

 

Graphics, photograph printouts are not sharp 

  If you are not satisfied with the quality of printed color graphics or photographs, use 

Glossy Paper or Glossy Film, etc. Make sure the Media Type is set correctly for the 

media you choose. 

  Select Color Mode on the Main panel in the print dialog box, press the Set button, 

and select Perceptual in Matching Method on the Matching sheet. 

Printout is faint 

The nozzles of the printhead may be clogged. Use the operation panel to clean the 

nozzles.
