Setting Media 

Selecting the Media 

In addition to Plain Paper and Glossy Paper, other media like Coated Paper, Glossy 

Film, etc. can be selected for print jobs. 

Here are some examples of media that can be selected from the Media Type list on the 

Main panel.

Glossy Film

 

Select the correct Media Source (feed method) for these media. For more details about 

paper and the media recommended for print jobs with this printer and how to set to this 

printer, refer to the User's Guide. 

Before changing the Media Type selection, confirm the following points.

 

  Coated paper, Glossy Paper, and other special print media have only one print side. 

Be sure load media for printing on the correct print side. For details, see the User's 

Guide. 

  Set the paper size, margin settings, and orientation in the printer driver or the 

software application.
