Selecting Orientation 

The Orientation selection determines how the image is printed on the page. 

1 

Open the Page Setup dialog box from the software application.

 

2  Display the Page Attribute panel, and for Orientation, click Portrait [

], 

Landscape [

] or Landscape (rotate) [

]. 

Orientation decides the location of an image on the media when it is printed. With 

Portrait, the image is located as it is, vertically in the direction the media feed. With 

Landscape, the image is at 90 degrees to the feed direction, and with Landscape 

(rotate) is at 180 degrees to the feed direction. 

The arrows in the illustrations next page show the direction of feed.
