In Configure, sign in with Administrator privileges, then click
Fiery Server

and select
Enable

Advanced Controller Interface (FACI) and then click
Start

Specify how frequently the imagePRESS Server is to contact the Update Server.
This feature sets a schedule for downloading, installing, and providing notification of updates.

Choose a method for updating the imagePRESS Server system software and utility software:
•
Automatically download and install updates
(recommended)
Automatically downloads updates to the imagePRESS Server and installs them. No intervention is required.
•
Download updates and send notification
Automatically downloads updates to the imagePRESS Server, but does not install them. A notification that
updates have been downloaded is sent. After the updates are downloaded, they must be installed manually.
•
Send notification when updates are available
A notification is displayed in the imagePRESS Server taskbar when new updates are available for download
from the Update Server.
To manually download the updates to the imagePRESS Server, access Check Now by clicking the notification
in the taskbar.

If you use a proxy server to connect through a firewall to the Update Server, click the
HTTP Proxy Settings
link. In
the
Proxy
dialog box, select
Enable HTTP Proxy
, enter the following information, and then click
Save
.
•
Address: proxy server IP address
•
Port: port used by the proxy server
•
User Name: user name for accessing the proxy server
•
Password: password for accessing the proxy server

Save

Install updates using Check Now
To access Check Now, you must use the Fiery Advanced Controller Interface (FACI) or establish a remote
connection to the imagePRESS Server (see
on page 107).
