16. While holding retaining tab, push key barrel
out of its location.
Key Barrel Installation
1. Insert the key in the key barrel.
2. Insert the key barrel into place with the key in
vertical position and the key barrel retaining tab
pointing upward.
3. Push the key barrel until you hear a CLICK to
confirm its commitment.
NOTICE
Key barrel proper commitment into
receptacle prevents it from coming out of its
location with key afterwards.
4. Install the key barrel cover with the latch actu-
ator pin towards spring and ball location.
5. Install the spring and ball.

6. Carefully hold in place and install the latch plate
2 bottom retaining screws. Screws should not
be tight yet.
7. Install the center blank cover and hold in place
with the other 2 retaining screws.

8. Finger tighten the 4 retaining screws. Do not
over torque.
NOTICE
If retaining screw are too tight, latch
plate may be damaged and will not function
properly.
9. Snap pivot into the 2 pivot points.

SNAP PIVOT IN PLACE
10. Turn the key clockwise to lock the levers and
check proper functioning.
11. Pull the latch cables to provide easier installa-
tion.
