REAR ACCESS COVER
Rear Access Cover Removal (with
hinges)
1. Open rear access cover.
2. Remove 4 retaining screws from bridge.
3. Remove rear access cover from trailer with the
hinges.

REAR ACCESS COVER WITH HINGES AND BRIDGE SECTION
NOTE:
Removing the rear access cover assem-
bled with the hinges allows easier installation by
avoiding hinge alignment procedure.
Rear Access Cover Removal (without
Hinges)
1. Open rear access cover.
2. Detach both shocks.

3. Remove 2 hinge retaining screws on each side.

Rear Access Cover Installation
Installation is the reverse of removal procedure.
However pay attention to the following.
In case of cover removed with hinges, torque
bridge screws as follows.
1. Torque front screws attaching body to bridge to
10 N•m (89 lbf•
in
).
2. Torque rear screws attaching body to bridge to
10 N•m (89 lbf•
in
).
3. Torque front screws attaching body to bridge to
21 N•m ± 1 N•m (15 lbf•ft ± 1 lbf•ft).
4. Torque rear screws attaching body to bridge to
21 N•m ± 1 N•m (15 lbf•ft ± 1 lbf•ft).
In case of cover removed without hinges, proceed
with cover alignment. See

Cover Alignment
1. Install 4 retaining screws on cover on each side.
Just finger tighten, do not torque yet.
2. Slowly lower cover to verify alignment.
NOTICE
Cover alignment is necessary to
avoid water intrusion and for proper function-
ing of hinges and latch.
3. Readjust and retighten by hand.
4. Once cover is aligned, tighten screws. Torque
to 10 N•m (89 lbf•
in
).
