INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
VALIDATION
NOTE: Before starting to install the Rear System on
the motorcycle, verify that the components
received will fit on the motorcycle.
• Insert rear wheel axle through the system’s
frame and installed T-Bushings to make sure
that the wheel axle goes in perfectly, without
restriction or excessive play.
NOTE: Contact an authorized Camso dealer if the
wheel axle does not go in or is too loose in the
T-Bushings.
MOTORCYCLE PREPARATION
• Place vehicle high enough on a solid and
stable stand so that the front and the rear of
the motorcycle are not touching the ground.
Make sure that the vehicle is immobilized and
can be safely worked on.
CAUTION: Do not expose any part of your body
under the vehicle unless the motorcycle is
installed on a secure stand.

FRONT WHEEL
Disassemble and remove the motorcycle’s front
wheel assembly. Proceed as follows:
• Unbolt the fork’s lower clamps.
• Loose and remove the front wheel axle nut.
• Remove front wheel axle.
• Remove the motorcycle’s front wheel.
NOTE: The nut and wheel axle will be reused to install
the ski assembly on the motorcycle.
• Disassemble and remove the fork protectors.
Disassemble and remove the braking system
Proceed as follows:
• Unbolt and disassemble the brake caliper
assembly bolts.
NOTE: Do not disassemble the brake hose from
caliper. The motorcycle’s brake system must
be removed as one unit.
• Unbolt and disassemble the brake handle
(master-cylinder) from the handlebars.
• Remove the brake hose mounting hardware
and the entire Braking system as one unit.
Vehicles equipped with a speedometer
• Disassemble and remove the speedometer
components from the front fork.
CAUTION: Be careful to not inverse master
cylinder when handling and storing the brake
assembly. There is a risk of air forming in the
hydraulic component of the Braking system.
NOTE: Re-use the Conversion System’s Parts box to
store the disassembled parts during the
periods that the Conversion System is used.
REAR WHEEL
To prepare the motorcycle for the rear system
installation, perform the following disassembly
steps:
Disassemble and remove the wheel/rear
suspension assembly from the motorcycle.
• Loosen the rear suspension swing-arm nut.
• Lower Chain tension to its minimum setting.
• Disassemble brake pedal and rear master-
cylinder from the motorcycle’s frame.
NOTE: Do not remove the brake hose from the caliper.
The braking system needs only to be
decoupled from the motorcycle frame.
