Operating The Water Heater
Turning on the water heater
1. Make sure the gas type you will use is same as the type on the data plate.
2. Turn on the main gas valve, plug in the power cord (be sure the socket is well
grounded), and press the “ON/OFF” button on the control panel. Set
temperature to 120°F(49°C).
3. Turn on the faucet, and the fan will begin working. You will hear the ignition
sound after a few seconds. The burner will ignite, and hot water will come out.
If the burner is not ignited successfully, the ignition sound will last a few
seconds. If the burner still fails to ignite, turn off the faucet and wait for 10-20
seconds, and repeat the above procedures.
For first use and/or if the water heater has not been used for a considerable
period of time, the repeat of the above procedures may be required, due to
accumulated air inside the gas pipe.
