These settings configure the parameters that the camera will use to connect to the server. The
FTP transfers must be enabled in the Capture Modes (
(p. 42)). When specifying
an FTP connection, select either active or passive mode file transfers. The default setting is
passive mode, which allows a camera to connect through a firewall to transfer files properly
through the firewall to the remote server.
If an FTP transfer failure, the CCFC resends the file to the FTP server for up to two times before
aborting the file transfer.
The CCFC also acts as an FTP server to enable photos and video to be transferred from the
camera memory for external storage, processing, or anything required of media files.
NOTE:
When troubleshooting network connectivity, use the Show Password checkbox to ensure the
password entered is correct.
