3 - SPECIFICATIONS
3.7 Safety devices
•
ON-OFF switch (18): Stops the operating lever (21).
•
Active safety device (20): Is inserted automatically when releasing the operating lever (21) and prevents from accidental
tool working.
•
Inertial chain brake (28): Stops the chain (11) of the cutting bar (10) immediately.
•
Hand guard (19): Protects the operator’s hands.
•
Bar guard (32): Protects the chain bar (10) during the transport.
•
Chain locking pin: Locks the chain in case of breakage.

- INSTALLATION AND CONTROLS BEFORE THE USE
4.1 Starting
WARNING!
•
Before starting the tool, check that the chain does not touch any object.
•
Do not work on a tree or a ladder, since it would be extremely dangerous.
Before starting working, it is necessary to wear protective clothing according to picture (H) and to check that all the safety and
protection devices are efficient and correctly assembled.
Check the chain bar (10) and the chain (11) for proper assembly and the chain (11) for adequate tension.
Check all the fixing screws for correct tightening
Full the oil reservoir (26) to lubricate the chain. Use SAE 30 oil. Lack of oil may cause chain (11) seizing.
The lubrication is automatic and does not need any regulations.
