After connecting the Actiheart back to the PC there are two options for reading
the data. The data can either be read from the recording mode / application that
the unit was set up in
using the “Read” button, or from the general Read function
which can be selec
ted after clicking the ‘Utilities’ button from the main screen.
The data recorded on the Actiheart is then downloaded to the PC via the
Reader/USB interface. Download progress is indicated by means of the yellow
progress bar. Once this is finished, the following screen is shown:
7.3 Storing
Comments with
the Data
This allows the user to add comments on the recording which will be stored along
with the data. This could be, for example, that the wearer has described when
they did or did not wear the Actiheart during the period, or the type of ECG pads
that were used for the recording. Once any comment required is entered into this
screen,
“Finish” saves the data into the selected database.
7.5 Analysing the
Signal Quality
Once the recording has been downloaded into the current database, it can be
analysed for the quality of the signal. Select the recording requiring analysis from
the list of available recordings and click ‘Scan all’. This will examine the recording
in detail and the message shown below will then be displayed:
