Communication 

8.1

 

Drivers 

To communicate with the board using one of the available communication buses, specific drivers should be installed on 
your host device. 

 

Note:

 to ensure the best system performance, it is recommended to have always the latest drivers release installed. 

Direct USB Driver Installation 

 

WINDOWS OS 

The Windows driver is available at the DT5495 webpage in the 

Software/Firmware

 tab (

login required

). 

 

Note:

 The following procedure is based on a Windows 10 system. It may be slightly different for other Windows OSs. 

1.

 

Download and unpack the driver installation package on the host PC. 

2.

 

Plug the USB cable on the DT5495 and on the PC. Windows should detect the new hardware. 

3.

 

Go to the 

Device Manager

 area. The new hardware is listed in 

Other devices

 

as “

V2

495” (see 

Fig. 2.1

).
