The ThermoSensor may take about 30 minutes to warm up from room temperature to
body temperature. A temperature reading is sent wirelessly every 30 seconds to your
SmartNode, and this reading will be converted into an equivalent body temperature,
which will appear on your mobile device or computer.
2.9 How to clean and store the ThermoSensor and the SmartNode
Step 1:
After each use, peel the Stick-On off the diaper/undergarment and then peel the Stick-
On off the sensor.
Step 2 (important):
Clean the sensor with a soft cloth moistened with alcohol, and put the sensor back into
the storage case to switch off the sensor. The metal part of the sensor should face down
and the barcode side should face up. Make sure that the sensor fits nicely into the
storage case and you are able to close the cap of the case. This step will ensure that the
sensor switches off completely, saving battery power and making your sensor last longer!
