Installing PCNC
6.1 This chapter
This chapter explains how to install or upgrade the PCNC program.
6.2 Introduction
The PCNC software consists of a number of files which should be stored
in the working directory. This is normally C:\PCNC, but does not have to
be. If you use a different directory, substitute its name whenever you
see C:\PCNC mentioned later.
The information in this section describes the correct way to install PCNC
version 0.27. Newer versions with different installation requirements
may appear after this manual has been produced.
PCNC version 0.27 contains an optional feature that allows PCNC to
communicate over a TCP/IP network using SNMP traps. This facility
requires additional TCP/IP software - for details of how to set this up,
please refer to the previous chapter.
