Installation Troubleshooting

 

If the CD does not automatically start (auto run) please follow these steps: 

  Go to ‘

Start

’              Windows 

 

  Go to ‘

Run

’                 

 

  Then type 

d:/

 

slcdmenu.exe 

and click on ‘

OK

’. 

 

Manually starting Installation CD 

Please note:

  The letter d refers to the CD Drive. The CD Drive name will vary 

from computer to computer.  

  Clicking on ‘

OK

’  should bring up the Installation Window. Then simply 

follow the prompts. 

If the ‘Installation Window’ does not come up please go into ‘

Windows Explorer’

.  

Windows Explorer

 may be an icon on your desk top. Alternatively go to ‘

Start

’, 

then ‘

Programs

’ and scroll through the list until you find it. 

  Open 

Windows Explorer

, go to your CD Drive in the left hand side of the 

screen. Click on the CD Drive and this will bring up some folders in the 

right hand side of the screen. Select the ‘

Program Files’

 folder and click on 

to open. 

  Then select and double click on ‘

Setup.exe’

 

  This should bring up the Installation Window. Then simply follow the 

prompts.
