Recommended Bluetooth adapter
•
We have tested and recommend the Belkin™ Class 2 Bluetooth™ to USB Adapter. The
Belkin has a simple and straight-forward installation process. We are able to supply this
adapter if required.
If you have major problems getting Bluetooth™ up and running you may be best to
contact the retailer you bought your computer or Bluetooth™ USB adapter from.
Follow the installation instructions that came with the Bluetooth™ adapter very carefully .
The installation process is commenced by inserting the CD that came in the box with the
Bluetooth™ adapter.
Insert Bluetooth adapter partway through installation process

During the installation process when it says there is no USB device plugged in, insert the
Bluetooth adapter and continue.
Bluetooth Services required
•
The only Bluetooth™ service required for the Pasture Meter is the serial port service. You
may wish to disable other services such as headphones or wireless keyboards.
Unique name for computer (on Bluetooth network)
•
You will also be required at some point to enter a unique name for your computer when it
is part of a Bluetooth™ network.
Checking Bluetooth Installation
•
Once the Bluetooth dongle or transmitter connected to your PC is turned
on and is installed correctly, the Bluetooth icon in the System Tray should
be in a white state like this ->
