Problems with SNMP

The SNMP manager server
can not get information from
IPAM-1600s
1. Check to see that the community in the IPAM-1600s
matches the SNMP server’s community.
2. If the above corrective action doesn’t work, contact for
technical support.
Problems with Telnet

Steps to Take
You cannot telnet into the
IPAM-1600s
1. Make sure that telnet session is not already operating.
The IPAM-1600s will only accept one telnet session at
a time.
2. Ping the IPAM-1600s from your computer. If you are
able to ping the IPAM-1600s but are still unable to
telnet, contact the distributor. If you cannot ping the
IPAM-1600s, check the IP address in the IPAM-1600s
and your computer. Make sure that both IP addresses
are located in the same subnet.
3. If the above corrective actions don’t work, contact for
technical support.
Problems with Password

Steps to Take
You forgot the password
Restore the configuration file ”sf_user.cfg”. All settings
will return to the configuration as “sf_user.cfg”, so any
configuration you have made in CLI will be lost.
If the above corrective actions don’t work, contact for
technical support.
