Fuel Gauge
It is used to indicate the approximate
amount of fuel remaining in the fuel
tank.
The displayed value will be more
accurate when the car is driven on a
smooth road. The indicated actual
amount of fuel remaining will deviate
slightly when the car is driven round
bends or on rough roads.
Pressing down the start button and
putting the power at the gear ON; the
corresponding liquid crystal band in
the instrument will illuminate to
indicate the present approximate fuel
amount remaining in the fuel tank.
After the power is turned to gear OFF,
the fuel indication band will switch off.
In the following cases, fuel in the fuel
tank may move around and the
indicated fuel amount on the fuel
gauge may vary and the indicator light
for low fuel may come on earlier.
1)
Emergency braking,
accelerating or turning;
2)
When driving on a slope or
bend.
If the remaining fuel is consumed to a
certain amount, the first point on the
scale of the fuel indicator will flash,
and the indicator light for low fuel will
come on as well. Meanwhile, the right
liquid crystal display shows "Please
add fuel" to remind the user to refill
with fuel as soon as possible.
WARNING
Avoid driving with a low fuel
level. When all fuel is used up,
the engine will stall and the
catalytic converter will be
damaged.
