To ensure that the cover will roll out correctly, check
that the axle is parallel to the opposite wall of the pool
before fixing it in position. Measurements can be taken
from the edge of the end fixing plates (A = B).See
engineering diagrams for the position.

To avoid damaging the liner during submersion, reduce
the length of the assembly as much as possible by
pushing the stainless steel shaft into the axle on the
bearing side.
17
Holding the assembly by the end fixing plates, submerge
carefully (requires two people).
Be careful to avoid contact with the pool liner while
submerging the axle .
18
Force submersion by standing on the end fixing plates
while air escapes from the axle as it fills with water
(approx. 2 minutes).
19
On the bearing side, screw the nut as tight as possible
against the axle to uncover the ring threading.
21
Insert the Ø 8 pin through the apertures in the threaded
ring and the stainless steel axle. The pin should be centred
in the shaft such that it protrudes equally on either side.
22
Unscrew the nut towards the pin as far as possible and
by hand (do not use a tool). This will drive the end fixing
plates apart and flat against the pool walls.
