The motor may be placed on either side of the pool. The only determining factor in this choice is the point of
arrival of the electrical cables.

The surface that will receive the end fixing plates
must be perfectly flat and level. Rectify if necessary.

PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION
Remove a section of the coping, minimum length 45 cm, off each side of the pool to allow attachment of
the end fixing plates (Photo 1).
Check that both the exposed areas are level with each other; if rectification is necessary, one of the two
sides may be resurfaced.
In the case of prefabricated thin wall, hollow wall or polystyrene block pools, pour a concrete reinforcement at
least 50 cm long and 20 cm deep behind the wall on either side of the pool to avoid any risk of deformation.
Arrange the two end fixing plates and the axle at the edge of the pool as illustrated in Photo 2 below. The
extremity of the axle bearing the drive gears should be directed towards the end fixing plate on the motor side.
Place a protective covering (cardboard, cloths, etc.) under the axle to prevent any damage.
