Important safety notice
- A cover is no substitute for common sense or individual responsibility. Nor is it intended to
substitute the vigilance of parents and/or responsible adults which remains the key factor in
ensuring the protection of young children.
- Caution: safety is only assured when the cover is closed, locked and correctly installed in
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions;
- In the event of an absence, however brief, from the home, the cover must be installed
systematically;
- Check that there is no person or foreign body in the pool both prior to and during operation;
- Keep the key used to operate the cover out of reach of children;
- The cover should only be opened or closed by a responsible adult;
- Do not allow anyone to step on, walk on or jump on a safety cover;
- Take all steps necessary to deny young children access to the pool while the cover is pending
repair or during any malfunction preventing the pool from being closed and secured or in the
event that the pool or equipment is temporarily unavailable.
- A pool can represent a serious danger to your children. A person can drown very quickly.
Children near a pool require your constant vigilance and active supervision, even if they know
how to swim.
- The physical presence of a responsible adult is absolutely mandatory when the pool is open.

Installation Recommendations
The COVERDECK automated cover’s maximum slat apron area is 12 x 6 m with 2 m (horizontal depth)
steps.
The French standard C15-100 stipulates that a 30mA ground fault circuit breaker must be installed
upstream from the COVERDECK electrical supply.
The motor assembly should only be operated with the control panel supplied. Operation of the motor
without its dedicated control panel, and vice verse, is both dangerous and inadvisable.
In accordance with the French standard concerning pool safety and protection, NF P90-308, the
COVERDECK cover is opened and closed using a key switch (supplied).
The automated nature of the COVERDECK cover in no way removes the need for vigilance when opening
and closing the cover. Should you encounter the slightest problem rolling up or rolling out the cover, stop
and contact a technician.
