DANGER
Live wires.
Risk of electrical shock.
●
Electrical installation work must only be executed by qualified personnel.
NOTICE

Risk of damage to the motor and temperature switches!
●
The wiring diagrams given below are typical. Check the inside of the terminal box for motor and
temperature switches connection instructions/diagrams.
7.7.1
Checking Function of the Measurement and Safety
Instrumentation
Version with temperature monitoring
Make sure that the machine aspirates inert gases and that there are no potentially explosive
atmospheres in the environment.
●
Open the lid of the terminal box with transmitter (TSA)
●
Disconnect the white cable from p
●
in 3, the first red cable from pin 5 and the second red cable from pin 6
●
To simulate the resistance thermometer Pt100 set a variable ohmic resistance to approx. 100 Ω
●
Connect the variable ohmic resistance with 3 identical cables to the pins 3, 5 and 6 of the
temperature transmitter as shown (the cable connected to pin 5 compensates the cable
resistance)
●
Switch on the machine
●
Increase the ohmic resistance to the resistance at shutdown temperature according to the
Diagram Resistance Thermometer
●
Make sure that an alarm is released in the system control and the machine is shut down
automatically
●
Decrease the ohmic resistance to a value less than the shutdown point
●
Make sure that the alarm persists
●
Make sure that the machine does not start self-acting
●
Switch on the machine again
