Remote control
The standard version of the 1427 is equipped with a RS232 interface.
The IEEE488 version is described in chapter 7.2: “Remote control IEEE488 (optionally)”.
A large part of the commands are the same for both versions.
7.1
Remote control RS232
•
Transmission baud rate may be selected from 300 to 19200 Bd.
•
Number of data bits is 8.
•
Number of stop bits is 1.
•
No parity.
You’ll find further information about the transmission rate at chapter 5.2.6.
For data flow control neither hardware handshake (RTS/CTS) nor program handshake (XON/XOFF) is
used.
The RS232 line is metallically separated to other electronic circuits.
