Adjusting the suspension
The adjustment shown here represents a basic
setting. The rider should change the basic setting to
suit the surface and his/her preferences.
It is advisable to make a note of the basic setting.
This way, it can be used as the starting point for
subsequent, optimised settings and to safeguard
against unintentional changes.
6.5
Retracting brake linings
New brake linings take time to break in and adjust to
their final braking force.
Accelerate vehicle to about 25 km/h.
Brake vehicle until it comes to a halt.
Repeat process 30–50 times.
The brake linings and brake discs are now retracted
and provide optimal braking power.
Crash caused by incorrectly set suspension
If the suspension is adjusted incorrectly, the fork may
become damaged, so that problems may occur when
steering. This will cause a crash with injuries.
Never ride the vehicle without air in the air
suspension fork.
Never use the vehicle without adjusting the
suspension fork to the rider's weight.
Settings on the chassis change riding performance
significantly. You need to get used to the vehicle
and break it in to prevent accidents.
