3 Cleaning/Maintenance
3.1 Care and cleaning in general
The combustion chamber, all air supply channels in the
combustion chamber as well as the connecting pieces to the
chimney must be cleaned in the event of soiling, but at least
once during and after the heating season. For this work we
recommend the use of a commercially available ash
vacuum cleaner.
The combustion chamber should be cleaned regularly of ex-
cess ash. Please note that a layer of ash (2–3 cm bed of
ashes) should always remain in the wood stove.

for limiting the door opening
angle and to keep the combustion chamber door in a fixed
position for cleaning purposes.
In order to lock the door in a fixed position, open it completely
and pull the steel rail slightly towards you. Now when you
slightly close the door, the rail locks into place and holds the
door open. In order to disable this fixing, open the door
completely and lightly push the steel rail back to its origi-nal
position. This device facilitates the cleaning of the combus-
tion chamber and the viewing glass. It may only be used
when the wood stove is not in operation.
Cleaning of the wood stoves
All you need to clean these components is cold water and
a micro fibre cloth.
If the ceramic cover shows signs of dirt, please mix
commercial household chlorine cleaner in the mixing ratio
specified on the product and rub with the help of a
microfiber cloth over the polluted areas.

lint free cloth and household glass cleaner. In case of a
strong degree of pollution, commercially available special
stove window cleaners are also suitable.
