5.1.2 – Calibration of Tension Sensors
y
TS44 sensor (on-board of Diaper-Feeder devices)
y
TS55 sensor (on board of production line)
This operation must be carried out at system commissioning time, and it must be repeated at leas
once a
year.
However, you are kindly recommended to carry out the sensor calibration during every production
plant extraordinary maintenance (
for instance : during the Machine-Stop times for general cleaning and
preventive maintenance of the whole production plant
).
To carry out the calibration procedure, please refer to Section 2 of this manual:
OFFSET on TS55 and/or DIAPER FEEDER Devices.
We remind you that prior to confirm the execution of OFFSET function, you must remove the yarn from
the loading cell of the involved sensors.
Should the calibration procedure (OFFSET) not be correctly executed (Tension read after the calibration,
without yarn, not close to 0), try to touch the loading cell with a finger and check the sensor reaction using
the GRAPHICS function.
In case of anomalous behavior, replace and re-number the sensor, as indicated on Section 2 of this Manual :
Device Configuration and Numbering – Single Device Numbering (TS55 or DF)
Repair
Any repair activity on electronic devices of MATRIX CUBE System (DIAPER FEEDER
Devices, SMART MATRIX CUBE Terminal, SM-DIN/DUOLOOP Boards, TS55 sensors and
IS3F/HTP sensors) must be carried out by specialized BTSR Service Staff.
Any repair attempt carried out by non-authorized personnel will invalidate the warranty terms.
