Step 2-4: Select “Enable” in the DDNS dropdown menu.
Step 2-5: Select the DNS server corresponding to the service used (No-IP) in the “Server” dropdown menu.
Step 2-6: Enter the name of the host (created in step 1-7) in the “Domain” field.
Step 2-7: Enter the DNS account user name (created in step 1-4) in the “User” field.
Step 2-8: Enter the DNS account password (created in step 1-5) in the “Password” field.
Step 2-9: Click on “Save” to confirm.
Step 2-10: Click on the “Cancel” button or right-click to return to the main menu.
Step 2-11: Right-click to exit the main menu.
Note:
- The DDNS can be configured on the box instead of on the recorder. For this, please refer to the documentation for the
box.

Configuring port redirection (configuring NAT)
The recorder uses three ports:
- 80 for the HTTP port
- 37777 for the Media/Mobile 1 port
- 37778 for the Mobile 2 port
If necessary these ports can be modified.
The ports must be redirected (NAT configuration) for remote access:
Method 1:
Automatic configuration (with UPnP)
The UPnP IGD can be used to configure port redirection automatically.
Step 1-1: Open the router configuration menu by entering its IP address in the web browser’s address bar.
Step 1-2: Refer to the router’s user manual for how to configure the UPnP IGD.
Step 1-3: Activate UPnP for the recorder in the “Network” menu by selecting “Enable” in the UPNP dropdown menu.
Step 1-4: Save and right-click to exit the main menu
Step 1-5: Check that the ports are routed, either on the router or by testing the remote connection.
