A new window appears.
Step 6:
Enter the new administrator’s name in the “User Name” field (instead of “88888888”).
Step 7:
Activate password protection of the recorder menus in the “Password Enable” dropdown menu.
Step 8:
Enter the new password in the “Password” field and enter it again in the “Confirm” field.
Step 9:
Click on “Save” to confirm.
Step 10:
Click on the “Cancel” button or right-click to return to the main menu.
Step 11:
Right-click to exit the main menu.
Note:
- When password protection is activated, click on the padlock icon in the taskbar of the 4/8-camera multi-view display
to lock the session.

Configuring user accounts with rights
To do this, you must be logged in with the administrator account.
Step 1:
Click on the button in the taskbar to go to the main menu.
Step 2:
Click on the “System” button to display the “System” menu.
Step 3:
Click on the “Users” tab to go the “Users” submenu.
Step 4:
Click on a user’s line to select that user.
Step 5:
Click on “Edit” to access modification of the IDs.
