Alarm and movement detection
4.1.1
Configuring the settings for recording and other actions on external alarm
This function can, for example, be used to remove any doubt regarding detection of a possible intrusion by an alarm
system.
Step 1:
Wire one alarm input and/or output
Step 1-1: Switch off the recorder.
Step 1-2: Wire one alarm input between one numbered terminal (1 to 4 for a 4-channel recorder, 1 to 8 for an 8/16-
channel recorder and 1 to 16 for a 16-channel recorder) and terminal “G”, and/or one alarm output between the two
terminals marked “ALARM”.
Step 1-3: When the wiring has been completed, the recorder can be switched back on using the switch on the back.
Step 2:
Configure the actions to be carried out when there is an alarm
Step 2-1: Click on the button in the taskbar to go to the main menu.
Step 2-2: Click on the “Parameter” button, then on the “Alarm” button in the submenu, and then on “Alarm” again in the
subdirectory.
Step 2-3: Select the input on which the sensor is wired in the “Channel” dropdown menu.
