Display
Memory light
Comes on when documents have
been stored in the memory.
Alarm light
Comes on – and alarm tone sounds –
if there is a problem.
Switch off by pressing
the
STOP
button.
Resolution
Adjusts the resolution of documents
to be faxed or copied.

Redial/Pause
Redials the last number.
Inserts a pause into a number.

Recall/Access
Used when connected to a switchboard.
Recall is also used on exchange lines.

Mode
Switches between
answering modes.

Monitor
Switches on loudspeaker to enable
handsfree dialling. Light comes on
when in handsfree mode. See page 14
Function
Lets you access the range of
functions when followed by
a number 1-8.
Paper tray
Holds up to 50 sheets of A4 paper.

Paper tray lever
Push back to insert more paper,
then pull forward.

Stop
Stops the current function or
cancels an error and returns the
machine to standby.
Start/Copy
Press to start faxing or copying.
Also confirms settings you make on
the machine.
LED
Keypad
For dialling and programming.
