Pull the front panel open as shown below.

Opening the front panel will reveal the
document scanner unit.

•

Push up the green buttons marked 

1 

and

2

.

Once the front panel is open take care not to
touch the optical scanner as this can result in
poor quality outgoing faxes and copies.

it forward as shown below. 

•

Pull open the paper feed cover and remove
the sheet of paper held in the paper feed.
Close the paper feed cover until it clicks shut
on both sides.

•

The green  hook located at the rear of the
print ribbon compartment is for use when
removing the print ribbon.

When removing the print ribbon make sure 

to remove and 

save

the cog and spigot from the
