LCD Display Check Mode ( “ 4 ” key )
This mode checks the quality of LCD display.

Press the “RET” key. The display shifts to the LCD Check 1 Mode as shown in Fig.10.

Press the “RET” key. The display shifts to the LCD Check 3 Mode as shown in Fig.12.

Press the “RET” key. The display shifts to the LCD Contrast Set Mode as shown in Fig.

Press the arrow keys( or ). The figure on the LCD changes to “-1” or “+1”. If
the density of the LCD is too high, select “-1” and if too thin, select “+1”. Then press
the “RET” key to write the selection into the EEPROM.
Note 1: If you select the default setting “±0”, the display shifts automatically to the Half
Cutter Adjustment Mode.
Note 2: If you select “+1” or “-1”, return to the step Fig.10 and repeat the steps until
reaching the step Fig.12. Press the “RET” key at the end of the step Fig.12.
The display shifts to the Half Cutter Adjustment Mode.

Press the “RET” key while the LCD displays as shown in Fig.12. The display shifts to
the Half Cutter Adjustment Mode as shown in Fig.14.
