procedures to remove the flash arrestor. Clean or

c. Remove the flash arrestor and flash arrestor screen
as described in the inspection / replacement
procedure. With the torch connected to an oxygen
source, depress and release the oxygen control
valve lever three or four times to clear the oxygen
path. Reinstall the flash arrestor and flash arrestor
screen.
