Depending on fans and power supplies that are installed, airflow can be from the port side to the nonport side of the

chassis or from the nonport side to the port side of chassis.
Although not illustrated, the chassis label that contains the serial number, SKU, and WWN is located on the lower portion

of the chassis, below the fan assemblies.

Device Management Options

You can use the management functions built into the device to monitor the fabric topology, port status, physical status, and

other information to help you analyze switch performance and to accelerate system debugging. The device automatically

performs a power-on self-test (POST) each time it is turned on. A RASlog message is generated for any detected startup

errors.
