Grasping, clamping and sealing tissue

Do not switch on the HF current before the active
electrodes are in contact with the tissue to be
coagulated.
1. Place the jaw insert

on the operation site.

2. Turn the fluted knob

to set the angle of the jaw

3. Place the tissue to be sealed between the electrodes of
the jaws

4. Close the jaws

to grasp the tissue.

5. Use the three-position ratchet of the handle

to adjust
the pressure on the tissue to best match the amount of
grasped tissue.
