5.7.15 Filling with water
Symbol is lit:
Too little water in the tank
Water tank not or incorrectly
inserted.

Remedial action:
Fill water tank with fresh water.
Insert water tank
Note
: The water level is monitored
by a software counter (impulses
from flow meter) and float / mag-
netic switch. A residual water level
between 80 ml and 180 ml in the
tank is possible. The amount of
residual water in the tank depends
on the product which was last
brewed (espresso, coffee...).
5.7.16 Empty the trays
Symbol is lit:
Drip tray or coffee dregs tray is full
OR
the switch contacts on the drip
tray are dirty.

Remedial action:
Remove drip tray or coffee dregs
tray, empty and re-insert.
Carefully clean the switch contacts.
Ensure that there is no coffee or
water residue on the switch
contacts.
