Backlight Switch-off
6.1.1
General Information
The service life of the backlight of the display is limited (see
).
To extend the service life of the LCD backlight, the flat screen display is provi‐
ded with a backlight switch-off. This function "darkens" the display when no
operation of the panel PC occurred for a certain period of time. The length of
the time interval can be specified in the Windows Control Panel under "Power
Options" (see
fig. 6-1 "Setting the darkening mode of the display in the Windows
).

6.2
Operating and Error Displays
4 LEDs are provided in the upper part of the front panel to display the device
statuses and errors of the connected control cabinet PC. Start the measures
specified in the following table if one of the succeeding LEDs displays an error
or a note.
