Software

9.1

Touch Screen Software

In the VDP 08.3DB and VDP 40.3DI operator displays a touch screen is inte‐

grated allowing the operation via the touch-sensitive surface of the display.
The touch screen controller communicates with the control cabinet PC via the

CDI interface using the USB interface internally in the control cabinet PC.
No driver software is to be installed. For more detailed information, please refer

to the respective documentation of the Rexroth control cabinet PC.

9.2

M-Key-UpperClassFilter

9.2.1

General Information

From firmware version 02VRS and higher of the operating system on the control

cabinet PC, the M-Key-UpperClassFilter driver is installed and active ex works.

The M-Key-UpperClassFilter driver is used for maintaining the downward com‐

patibility of the M-Key-Code when existing software products are used on

devices of the V xx.3 generation. The incoming keyboard data stream is ana‐

lyzed and as soon as a M-key-code (F13-F24,...) is detected, the corresponding

Ctrl-LRShift-Alt-<n> code is inserted into the data stream. This is done in the

kernel level of the operating system.

Activation and Deactivation of the M-Key-UpperClassFilter

To activate and to deactivate the filter, the both batch files

mkeyfilter-ac-

tivate.cmd

and

mkeyfilter-deactivate.cmd

are to be used. The sys‐

tem restarts after the execution of the batch files. The batch files are filed in the

directory Support ▶ MKey-Filter Driver.
