Replacing the roller chain
It is possible to replace
the roller chain when the
HQ 2/U-H is installed in the
section.
1.
Open the chain lock (A).
2.
Replace the roller chain.
3.
Check the sprocket and
the chain guides for
break-in scoring.
Replace the worn parts.
4.
Check the tension of the
roller chain. Adjust the
roller chain tension if
necessary.
Please note:
• Do not pre-tension the
roller chain, the chain
should be able to be
pressed in by ~10 mm.
• Incorrect roller chain
tensioning reduces the
service life of the roller
chain, gear and motor!

tension
• Loosen the screws (B)
and move the motor-gear
combination until the
correct chain tension is
achieved.
• Fix this setting with the
screws (B).
