8 Mounting the FMB drive
8.1
Installing the mount and gear unit
1.
Insert the first coupling half (

) into the Tubular Shaft (

) of the
end enclosure
(

) and tighten the screw (

) to
tightening torque M

in accordance with Table 7 (

Fig. 17). (The journal and Tubular Shaft must be free of grease.)
2.
Attach the second coupling half (

) to the first coupling half.

Install the mount (

) onto the gear unit (

) with four screws (

Vertically attach the gear unit and the mount to the end enclosure (

). Center these via the coupling (

Fasten the mount and gear unit on the end enclosure (

Tighten the clamping screw (

) of the 2nd coupling half (

) using the mount bore (

NOTICE
Risk of excessive torque and rotary speed if limit values are not adhered to!
Avoid tension due to the weight of the motor when mounting the motor!
Damage to the product.

Install the motor in a vertical position.
