Connecting IP Cameras
1. Determine if power is to be supplied via the Ethernet
connection compliant with the Power-over-Ethernet (PoE)
(IEEE 802.3af) standard or via the external 24 VAC power
cable (factory-configured).
CAUTION!
Never supply power via the Ethernet connection (PoE) when
power is supplied via the power connector.
2. Follow the steps below depending on your power source
(power cable or Ethernet cable):
