3 GENERAL
The US (HIIP054U) and Canadian (HIIP054C) stainless induction
ranges are full-depth models, designed to replace either a free-
standing or slide-in range in a flush installation. The Benchmark series
models have a glass ceramic cooking surface and 4 induction
elements. The ovens feature European convection and there is a
400W warming drawer with push-to-open (PTO) slides as well.
The ranges feature VFD red and white displays with touch controls for
operation of the electric oven and touch controls on the surface of the
cooktop to control the induction elements. The doors are
QuietClose™ for smooth and quiet operation.
The door skin and warming drawer front are made of grade 430
brushed stainless steel, which is magnetic.

Models
The model number structure for the 2014 slide-in ranges appears
below.
3.2
Data Plate
The data plate reflecting model number and FD number is located on
the inside of the warming drawer front, as shown in Figure 2; open the
drawer to view.
The first 4 positions of the FD number reflect the year/month the
product was built. FD numbers that begin with 94 were built in 2014;
95 = 2015; 96 = 2016, etc. An FD of 9404 indicates the range was
built in April 2014.
