Use a safe drip pan when draining used lubricant.

Position of drain and fill holes: see
mounting positions” on page 42
3.
For draining the lubricant, remove the screw plug from the
drain hole and drain the lubricant.
4.
Tightly close the drain hole.
5.
Remove the closure from the fill hole for filling.
6.
Fill the lubricant up to the optimum fill level having regard to
the information in
Chapter 9.8 “Lubricant list” on page 187
7.
Properly close the fill hole with the closure removed previ-
ously. If the breather had to be removed, reinstall it with the
opening facing downwards.
