Put on fine sanding paper (100-120).
4)
Turn the fine adjustment screw counter clockwise
until it stops.

Start the machine.
7)
Turn the large adjustment screw counter
clockwise so that the sanding belt is moved
toward to outer edge control.
Then turn an additional ½ turn.
8)
Then adjust using the fine adjustment screw clockwise so that the
sanding belt only lies slightly against the outer edge control.
5)
Remove the plastic plug protecting the large
adjustment screw; stick a screwdriver in the
hole in the machine frame.
9)
Replace the plastic plug.
