3. Safety
3.1 General safety information
In each country the relevant regulations for accident prevention and general safety work
must be observed when working with our products.
Important requirements are characterized by clear recognizable symbols. Follow all
safety rules or tips to avoid accidents and damage to the equipment.
The manual should be present in the place where the tool is stored and always within
reach.
These operating instructions contain useful information and important chapters of the
relevant directives, standards and regulations.
The owner or tenant is required to instruct his staff in accordance with this information.
In addition to the operating instructions all general applicable information regarding
statutory and mandatory requirements for accident prevention and environmental
protection and basic safety – including health requirements must be observed.
Working with this tool danger of physical injury exists if the tool is operated by not
properly trained staff that are unable to perform the job according to the rules and
regulations set.
The operating instructions and the instructions including observation must be taken into
account by the owner, also taking into account business related details (such as work
organization, work processes and personnel deployed) must be completed.
Before working with this particular tool all staff must read all instructions, and in
particular the chapter "Safety Information".
At least the degree of safety and danger awareness work of the personnel based on the
operating instructions must be checked.
The owner is obliged to ensure that the tool can work only if it is in impeccable condition
and if account is taken of all relevant safety requirements and regulations.
The tool must be shut down immediately if there are deficiencies and / or irregularities.
When stopping the tool (eg deficiencies, emergencies, breakdowns, repairs and
maintenance, for damage to the tool or at the end of the workday), the operating staff or
qualified personnel must perform all the recommended safety precautions or the
automatic implementation of it.
To the extent necessary or required by regulations, protective clothing must be worn.
