Manual I-Boom 12

5.2.3 Battery.

On the energy meter, of the tool as well as the ballast counter-carriage, it can be read

how much power is present in the batteries. If this is just 1/3rd full the tool must be put

down and the batteries must be recharged.

The batteries of the tool and the counter ballast wagon may be separately charged. For

charging, use the supplied 220/230 volt cables. Connect the C-shape of the cable to the

tool and / or counter ballast car and plug the cable directly to a preferred distribution

point. When the batteries are loaded a red signal light will illuminate.

5.3 Starting the machine

Start the tool only when all safety conditions are met, see chapter 4.

If a condition is not met, the tool should not be started.

To prepare to start the tool, turn the main switch of the tool and the counter ballast

wagon on by setting it to one (1). Now the transmitter can be turned on (see the

operating instructions of the transmitter micron 4.) Once the transmitter is turned on,

the green signal lamp lights up, indicating that the tool can be operated.

5.4 Counter Weight

The counter-weight can be adjusted using the transmitter. As a result, the horizontal

position of the I-Boom is determined. This is depending on the load to be lifted.

5.5 Fans

For the positioning of the tool, the tool is equipped with two fans, which move the tool to

the left and right, to orientate it on the crane hook block.

Choice of Attachments:

5.6 Swivel

The rotating head is provided with two adjustable arms. The arms are adjustable from

1100mm to 2100mm. The setting is determined by the width of the placing element. The

rotating head can be rotated by means of the transmitter 45 degrees to the left and

right. This allows the element to be placed in the correct position.

5.7 Fork

The fork is provided with two locking clamps in order to secure the elements, in order to

prevent slanting.

5.8 Hydraulic cylinders and cable

The hydraulic cylinders and the cables can be lowered using the transmitter. By attaching

an element in a horizontal position, linking it to the cables, the element can be brought

into a vertical position.

After disconnecting the element, the hydraulic cylinders and the attached cables can be

slackened using the transmitter.
