5. Description of the Machine
5.1 General
The tool has been developed especially to be hung in a crane. On this tool, various
frames will be suspended to place facade elements against a building in any position, or
to load pallets with material on a floor to a maximum of 5 meters from the edge of the
building.
The counter-ballast block on the I-Boom can be adjusted by remote control so it causes
the I-Boom to sit level. The 24V motor with which the block is moved, is powered by a
24V battery.
5.2 Equipment Needed
5.2.1 Radio control
With the transmitters, the tool can be
operated. There are two transmitters.
The advantage is that when the loading,
a person can operate the tool, and, when
the tool is lifted to the top
by the crane, the person on the first
floor of the tool can operate when
unloading. To avoid simultaneous action
commands there is a "release -
acquisition" function on the transmitter.
Once the tool is "loaded" then the person
on the ground can release the tool. The
person on top of the intermediate floor
can now take over the function to
unload.
Learn how to use the transmitters by reading the enclosed operating instructions
'transmitter micron 4'.
5.2.2 E-meter
The available energy can be read from a meter. (Cruising Equipment Company)
Pressing the SEL button
enables to choose between the values 'V, A, Ah or
t'.
When all the lights (windows below the line E-F)
are ON this means that the battery is full and the
tool can be driven.
