3.5.7. Vice setting
The band saw does not have vices equipped with hydraulic cylinders with full
lift, the vices have to be adjusted manually according to the diameter or width
of the material to be cut.
1. Loosen the fastening levers of both vices.
2. Open both vices to insert the cutting material.
3. Adjust the vice jaws ca. 3 mm from the cutting material and tighten both
clamping cubes of the vice cylinders.
4. Check that the distance between the material and the jaws match.
Attention!
f the distance between material and jaw is too long, the
jaw will not grip the material. The pressure switch will not
switch on and the machine reports that there is no
material inserted.
