5. Lift the saw arm by pressing button „Raise the saw arm“ to the highest
position.
Check the height setting with meter. The saw band should be positioned ca. 10
mm above the cutting material.
3.5.6. Optimal adjusting of the guide cubes span
In order to achieve smooth and precise cuts, the band guide cube should be
positioned as close as possible to the material.
1. Release the splice plate of the left stretching listel.
2. Move the left part of the guide so that the edge of the left guide cube is as
close to the material.
3. Check that there is not any conflict with clamping table or vice jaws with
the left guide part adjustment in set mode.
4. Tighten the splice plate of the stretching listel.
Attention!
If the cut material is thinner than 160 mm, check the
distance of the left guide cube edge from the edge of the
clamping table. Guide cube must not overlay the
clamping table area and has to be positioned at least 10
mm from this area. If the cube touches the table, the
machine cannot finish its cycle, because the saw arm
cannot reach its lowest position.
Make sure that the guide cube does not collide with the
vice. Guide cubes should be placed ca. 40 mm from the
vice jaws.
