Switch off ignition.
An incorrect disconnection
sequence increase the risk
of short-circuiting.
Always observe the proper
sequence.
Remove battery ground wire 1
first.
Then remove positive battery
cable
2 .
Remove screw 3 of battery
holder.
Lay battery holder with cables
connected over frame to left.
Tilt the battery 90° and lift it
clear of the motorcycle.
Installing battery
Switch off ignition.
Place battery edgewise in bat-
tery holder and turn it into cor-
rect position.
The positive terminal is on the
left in the driving direction.
Place battery in center be-
tween bars on air cleaner box.

First install positive battery ca-
ble

Then install negative battery
